Chaavu Kaburu Challaga - Movie Review
The makers of Chaavu Kaburu Challaga announced that they have taken the feedback from theater release and re-edited the movie. I have not seen the theatrical release and so this review is only for the OTT release.
Right from the word go, two things that hit the bullseye in Chaavu Kaburu Challaga are its hero Kartikeya and dialogues. Kartikeya picked up a role of a guy who moves bodies for cremation. His body language, slang and mannerisms are all perfect. Then he adds a layer of performance on top of it and comes out as perfect package for this movie. His acting in numerous scenes in the movie are top notch and on par with seasoned actors.
Secondly the dialogues of the movie hit you real hard and make you get up and give the needed attention to the subject. Lavanya, Amani, Murali Sharma and rest of the cast are all apt. For such a unique and progressive film, the initial sequences of hero trying to impress heroines by following and borderline eve-teasing should have been avoided. Also the music should have been given more attention with some memorable songs added in the mix
Right from the moment, Aamani's role's significance is revealed 30 minutes in, to the last scene of the movie, Chaavu Kaburu Challaga is a must watch.
