Suicide Squad 2 - Movie Review

Streaming: HBOMAX Suicide Squad 1 was one of the finest DC movies(Minus Nolan's Dark Knight Trilogy) to come out from their camp. Do not go by the reviews. It was so well received that Harley Quinn had her own movie. Now cut to Suicide Squad 2 with the famous James Gunn from Marvel camp at the helm, it barely meets the expectations.  Marvel made it seem so easy to write a super hero movie in super entertaining fashion with movies like Winter Soldier, Thor Ragnorak, Guardians of the Galaxy etc. But DC thought all they needed was the guy who directed Guardians to sell Suicide Squad. Oh my oh my how they were wrong. In one phrase, Suicide Squad is a gross mess that shines few times and far in between. Suicide Squad is no Guardians, not even close. The screenplay is messy. The visuals are gross but it aint Kill Bill. Kill Bill romanticizes with violence but Suicide Squad tries to romanticize with gross elements. To say the least, it doesn't work in favor of the movie. NTR - Kathanayakudu - Review

Dialogues can not tell a story they can compliment a story. The main problem with the first installment of NTR, Kathanayakudu is that it tries to tell a story with dialogues. Kathanayakudu suffers badly from documentary kind of narration. It tries to tell the story of NTR the greatest Legend by showing us how some of his iconic movie scenes were shot. And that is a very bad idea.

The casting is good. NBK as NTR is acceptable, thanks to the promotional material. Vidya Balan fit the role well but she was wasted in a role not written. Surprise package is the Sumanth in ANR role. He got a meaty role and surprisingly he reminds us of ANR. Kalyan Ram and Rana did good. Another surprise in the movie is the climax scene where NBK looks almost like NTR and also emotes almost like him.

Another major drawback of the movie is music. Keeravani hugely disappoints with both songs and BGM. Especially in the scene where NTR comes in Lord Krishna's role the bgm is a huge letdown. And the song that comes towards the end credits pushes you to walk out of the theater fast.

NTR movie is a boring misfire from Krish who could not make use of a great opportunity. Hoping the second part is impressive.

    This movie is excellent, awesome.direction is superb as well as music also and Balakrishna did a great role,great performance.finally I gave 5 star out of 5.very very good movie
