Vunnadhi okate zindagi - Review

Friends gathering and having a chat is always fun, no matter the age. But sometimes some gatherings have that odd couple of friends who are part of the gang but do not talk to each other. Have you ever had such couple in your group or have you ever been one in that couple of friends who do not talk to each other. Then you will connect with this movie. 

But besides that, there are so many problems with the movie. First and foremost, you can not have a beautiful actress like Anupama and show all her bad angles and only her bad angles. Now lets move onto lesser important ones. The proceedings are snail paced and lack any emotional connect. There are like 1 or 2 scenes in each half that connect well. Rest all are very superficial scenes in this supposedly emotional drama. My personal favorites are the proposal scenes in first half and the one towards the climax. They were handled very maturely. 

The energetic star Ram, tones down his energy levels and comes up with a decent performance. His dances in the songs are so simple that you almost forget the fact that he is one of the best dancers in Telugu cinema. This is Sree Vishnu's first mainstream main role(Appatlo Okadundevaadu was less on mainstream category) and I should say he did not play it to his benefit. He looked uninterested or lethargic or simple could not act. He had a beautiful role but his expressions and dialogue modulation took life out of the role. His chemistry with Ram did not work well. I had to constantly remind myself how decent he was in S/o satyamurthy or Prema Ishq Kadal. Anupama did good in her role. Watch out for her performance in her last scene. Lavanya is still trying the glam doll make over but the problem is that the roles are so half-baked. 

The romance in the movie looks so cliched, the comedy does not exist, the songs are passable, the actors did just okay, the movie is very slow but there are 3 or 4 brilliant scenes in the movie. Now be the judge for yourself.
