Suicide Squad 2 - Movie Review

Streaming: HBOMAX Suicide Squad 1 was one of the finest DC movies(Minus Nolan's Dark Knight Trilogy) to come out from their camp. Do not go by the reviews. It was so well received that Harley Quinn had her own movie. Now cut to Suicide Squad 2 with the famous James Gunn from Marvel camp at the helm, it barely meets the expectations.  Marvel made it seem so easy to write a super hero movie in super entertaining fashion with movies like Winter Soldier, Thor Ragnorak, Guardians of the Galaxy etc. But DC thought all they needed was the guy who directed Guardians to sell Suicide Squad. Oh my oh my how they were wrong. In one phrase, Suicide Squad is a gross mess that shines few times and far in between. Suicide Squad is no Guardians, not even close. The screenplay is messy. The visuals are gross but it aint Kill Bill. Kill Bill romanticizes with violence but Suicide Squad tries to romanticize with gross elements. To say the least, it doesn't work in favor of the movie. Disco Raja - Movie Review

Phew Disco Raja!!! I mean how VI Anand? Lets get into the details.

Disco Raja is a one hell of a ride if you stop saying "kuch bhi" every five minutes. There is a meme for every scene in the movie. I think the meme makers totally did brutal injustice to this movie. There was so much material in this. For one Disco Raja is a mix of numerous medical miracles like pregnant lady in coma for 9 months, man frozen and his body parts in tact, dead man coming alive, person hanging himself and pretending to die...ok that was not a medical miracle.

The songs and bgm are good. The fights are good. The production values are good. The writing needed more conviction. Ravi Teja looks good in this movie and in his element. Rest of the cast is alright.

Overall, Disco Raja is like walking into Ripley's believe it or not, kuch bhi.

    Man frozen and his body parts in tact - *cough* Captain America , and people believed that and ofcourse you enjoyed that movie too. have you every heard of cryonics? Search about alcor life extension foundation, james bedford's body is still preserved.

    Pregnant woman in coma for nine months - search for Nathan Sutherland who raped a woman who has been in coma for 14 years and she gave birth to a healthy baby boy after nine months , please research before talking shit about movies.

    Search for Dead Man Came Alive - Several articles on trusted sources say that it has happened , people came alive in a day or two , or before their funeral , and movie genre was science-fiction , do you know the meaning of fiction?

    Stop Talking Shit and doing reviews you don't belong in reviewing movies.
