Suicide Squad 2 - Movie Review

Streaming: HBOMAX Suicide Squad 1 was one of the finest DC movies(Minus Nolan's Dark Knight Trilogy) to come out from their camp. Do not go by the reviews. It was so well received that Harley Quinn had her own movie. Now cut to Suicide Squad 2 with the famous James Gunn from Marvel camp at the helm, it barely meets the expectations.  Marvel made it seem so easy to write a super hero movie in super entertaining fashion with movies like Winter Soldier, Thor Ragnorak, Guardians of the Galaxy etc. But DC thought all they needed was the guy who directed Guardians to sell Suicide Squad. Oh my oh my how they were wrong. In one phrase, Suicide Squad is a gross mess that shines few times and far in between. Suicide Squad is no Guardians, not even close. The screenplay is messy. The visuals are gross but it aint Kill Bill. Kill Bill romanticizes with violence but Suicide Squad tries to romanticize with gross elements. To say the least, it doesn't work in favor of the movie. Grand Masti - Review

Oh btw, the title of the movie is the least of your problems. If you have seen Kya Super Kool Hai Hum and thought it was only for adults, watch this and you would rate that PG or Clean U. This movie, part two of  the Masti franchise, steps up it's game of brutal vulgar comedy and serves it hilariously. Add to it, ample skin show. Yes there is too much vulgarity unfit for family audience, scenes ripped off from Austin Powers, American Pie etc, so much skin show that in Telugu or Tamil the whole screen would be blurred but most importantly there is hilarious comedy as well. The dialogues are perfectly awesome. Let me quote one please. There is a scene where a guy named Prasad is giving a hint to guess his name by saying "Haath mein doon yaa moon mein" and the immediate reaction of Ritesh and Aftab. I was ROFLing for few mins. Lets leave the moral policing to the dedicated jobless gangs on the streets and enjoy this adult rated movie the way it is supposed to be enjoyed, unadulterated way. Take a bow, the team of Grand Masti for making the most shameless yet enjoyable mainstream movie ever so dedicated way.
