Suicide Squad 2 - Movie Review

Streaming: HBOMAX Suicide Squad 1 was one of the finest DC movies(Minus Nolan's Dark Knight Trilogy) to come out from their camp. Do not go by the reviews. It was so well received that Harley Quinn had her own movie. Now cut to Suicide Squad 2 with the famous James Gunn from Marvel camp at the helm, it barely meets the expectations.  Marvel made it seem so easy to write a super hero movie in super entertaining fashion with movies like Winter Soldier, Thor Ragnorak, Guardians of the Galaxy etc. But DC thought all they needed was the guy who directed Guardians to sell Suicide Squad. Collateral Beauty - Review

This is my kind of movie. We all go through hard times in our life. We lose people. We all have situations where we do not understand how to deal with ourselves and our grief. There are moments of helplessness and unbearable sadness that just does not make sense. We let out a loud cry of "Help me see the bigger picture" out to our creator or to the void space up above us. This movie is that bigger picture and Collateral Beauty is the bigger picture.

If that didn't help you sign up for this movie, let me give you the star cast- Will Smith, Kate Winslet, Edward Norton, Michael Pena, Helen Mirren and Keira Knightley. And the movie is set around Christmas time in New York. But all this is just glitter and there is indeed very uplifting and heartfelt substance underneath all this.

Watch it and do yourself a huge favor. Everyone needs to understand the concept of Collateral Beauty.
