Suicide Squad 2 - Movie Review

Streaming: HBOMAX Suicide Squad 1 was one of the finest DC movies(Minus Nolan's Dark Knight Trilogy) to come out from their camp. Do not go by the reviews. It was so well received that Harley Quinn had her own movie. Now cut to Suicide Squad 2 with the famous James Gunn from Marvel camp at the helm, it barely meets the expectations.  Marvel made it seem so easy to write a super hero movie in super entertaining fashion with movies like Winter Soldier, Thor Ragnorak, Guardians of the Galaxy etc. But DC thought all they needed was the guy who directed Guardians to sell Suicide Squad. Oh my oh my how they were wrong. In one phrase, Suicide Squad is a gross mess that shines few times and far in between. Suicide Squad is no Guardians, not even close. The screenplay is messy. The visuals are gross but it aint Kill Bill. Kill Bill romanticizes with violence but Suicide Squad tries to romanticize with gross elements. To say the least, it doesn't work in favor of the movie. Idris Elba is

Jai Lava Kusa - Review

Jai Lava Kusa is a movie with NTR in triple role after he gave three back to back blockbusters and with him in his top form. The movie starts off on an interesting note with Jai Lava Kusa as kids, how differences crop up between them and how they get separated. Once they grow up, the movie focuses mainly on Lava Kusa with some routine narration but at a good pace. Then comes the interval bang with Jai. The movie reaches an altogether different high with his entry. In second half some interesting scenes but a bit silly plot twists take place. But the presence of Jai makes up for any shortcomings. The climax is crisp but too simple for Jai's role.

Now let me talk about NTR in Jai.  Jai's acting, dialogue delivery with the stuttering, his looks, his body language and most importantly the way NTR enjoyed playing it are all a treat to watch on screen. Surely his acting is going to raise the eyebrows of critics and induce goosebumps for fans. He is impeccable in the role of Jai. He enjoyed it thoroughly and it is clearly visible. Even the way he dances in Tamannah song, shows his dedication towards the role. Pure attitude.

Overall, Jai Lava Kusa is an average movie but NTR as Jai elevates it to a new level and makes it totally worth.
